In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Labor (AFA) contributes to strengthening the location Zurich. The Competence Center for Labor bundles the labor market policy competencies within the AFA and takes on important strategic tasks, projects, and services on topics of labor market policy as well as the execution of public employment services.
To strengthen the Competence Center for Labor, we are looking for a committed personality. Reporting directly to the department management, you coordinate directorate and political affairs and are responsible for cross-departmental topics such as contract management and information management within the office. In addition, you support the department management in strategic and operational projects.
We will start the first selection from September 16, 2025. The desired start date is as soon as possible or by agreement.

Your tasks:
- Processing and coordination of directorate and office affairs including deadline setting, monitoring appointments, and quality assurance
- Responding to political affairs in close cooperation with the relevant specialist departments (e.g., statements on consultations, responses to parliamentary initiatives, co-reports, etc.)
- Monitoring and impact assessment of political and legal developments related to public employment services and unemployment insurance
- Ensuring information management in the AFA (e.g., archiving, data classification, implementation of legal requirements)
- Coordination of internal knowledge management including training aspects and quality assurance
- Building, maintaining, and monitoring the office's contract management
- Collaboration and support of the department management in strategic and operational projects within the office
Your profile:
- University degree, ideally in law, political science, administrative science, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in administration, business coordination, or a similar context
- Very good written expression skills as well as editorial strength
- Flawless German in spoken and written form; French and English skills are an advantage
- Strong political understanding and conceptual thinking
- Structured, precise, and service-oriented working style
- IT affinity and proficient handling of M365 as well as database systems
