Plant and Equipment Engineer specialising in Welding Technology
Activities
- Manufacture welded components for gas turbines as well as aerospace according to technical drawings
- Perform manual TIG welding with various alloys such as nickel base, stainless steel and Inconel
- Carry out welding work with robotic technology as well as on rotary and longitudinal machines
- Apply orbital and spot welding processes
- Maintain work documents and welding instructions as well as record operational data
Requirements
- Completed training as a plant and equipment engineer or equivalent qualification
- Ideally additional qualification in welding
- Knowledge of welder testing according to EN ISO 9606-4 is an advantage
- Independent and responsible working style
- Willingness to work early and late shifts as well as good German language skills
