BAUHAUS, the specialist for workshop, home and garden, currently operates seven specialist centres in Switzerland in the cantons of Bern, Zurich, St. Gallen, Fribourg, Aargau and Ticino as well as an online shop, employing over 600 staff. In fifteen specialist departments, BAUHAUS offers its customers over 120,000 quality products on a sales area of up to 20,000 m². What you can look forward to:

• You support the department management in organising the department as well as in leading and scheduling the team. In their absence, you take on the deputy role

• Together with your team, you convince BAUHAUS customers from greeting to farewell with friendly and expert advice

• You ensure an appealing product presentation and well-maintained shelves and implement sales-promoting measures together with your team

• You actively support your team in daily business and contribute to smooth processes as well as achieving the department’s goals

• You have acquired your expertise through completed training in retail, technical or craft fields or through several years of professional experience in one or more of the areas hardware, tools, machinery or electrical.

• Ideally, you have already gained some sales experience and are accustomed to working during opening hours.

• You appreciate direct customer contact and friendliness is your top priority even during busy customer periods.

• You enjoy selling BAUHAUS products and are also an upbeat and service-oriented personality.

• You impress with organisational talent and enjoy taking responsibility as well as supporting and motivating your team.
