About the job
The Cardiology Department at Thun Hospital is a recognized training center and belongs as an independent specialty to the Medical Clinic. Patients from the entire spectrum of the specialty are cared for, and there is close cooperation with the central hospital in the field of interventional cardiology. As the head, you are responsible for the professional, personnel, and organizational management of the Cardiology Department. You shape the strategic development of the department, actively participate in patient care, conduct consultation services, and are involved in the training of assistant doctors within cardiology and the Medical Clinic.
Start date July 1, 2026, or by agreement, due to the retirement of the current position holder.
