Sonnweid is regarded as one of the leading institutions for people with dementia. In our competence centre, our 330 employees from various professional fields care for and look after 174 residents. General practitioners and geriatric psychiatrists ensure medical care. The differentiated living and care concept is adapted to the stage of the illness. Our semi-acute ward offers a temporary home for people with particularly challenging behaviour, while the day/night ward relieves caring relatives with day and holiday stays.

Our mission statement, which places the needs of people with dementia at the centre, forms the basis for our daily actions. With joy and conviction, we do everything to ensure that the residents feel comfortable and at home at Sonnweid. In doing so, we respect each other’s individuality and support each other in challenging situations.

Your tasks

• Ensuring individual and relationship-oriented care, nursing and support of our residents during the night
• Professional and personnel management of our night shift team with 15 employees
• Participation in care and nursing
• Interdisciplinary collaboration within the team and with doctors and other partners
• Ensuring nursing documentation and good information flow

You bring with you

• Completed training as a nursing specialist HF, DN I/II, AKP, PSKP, KWS, IKP
• Open, clear, appreciative and participative leadership style
• Enjoyment of relationship-oriented work
• Openness and creativity in dealing with the needs of people with dementia
• Independent and responsible way of working
• You want to live our mission statement and develop Sonnweid further with us, contributing an important part to ensuring that our residents have a home at Sonnweid where individual well-being is the focus
