Plant and Equipment Engineer specialising in Robotic Welding
Responsibilities
- Independently programming, setting up and optimising welding robots
- Operating and further developing existing robot programmes
- Performing demanding welding tasks on components made from nickel-based alloys such as Inconel and Hastelloy
- Contributing to the further development of robotic welding technology
- Welding with robotic systems
- Welding on rotary and longitudinal machines as well as spot welding
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as a plant and equipment engineer or comparable technical training
- Solid knowledge in programming and application of welding robots
- Experience in setting up and further developing robotic welding processes
- Further training in welding is an advantage
- Welder certification according to EN ISO 9606-4 is an advantage
- Willingness to work early and late shifts
