Secondary School Teacher with Special Responsibilities for Physics starting Autumn Semester 2027 80 - 100%The Kantonsschule Zürcher Unterland operates a long and a short grammar school with all six Matura profiles offered in the canton of Zurich as well as an immersive class stream (German/English). With almost 1200 pupils and around 170 teachers as well as 30 staff members in administration and operations, the Kantonsschule Zürcher Unterland is one of the large secondary schools in the canton of Zurich.
Your tasks
For the 2027/28 school year, we are offering a permanent position as a secondary school teacher with special responsibilities. In addition to teaching physics, you will deliver other related teaching modules (e.g. scientific elective module). The teaching role with special responsibilities (mbA) includes, for example, taking on the role of class teacher and participating in school development.
Your profile
You have completed a specialised degree, i.e. a Master’s in Physics, and hold a teaching diploma for Matura schools or an equivalent qualification in this subject. You have several years of teaching experience at grammar school level and already bring experience in performing additional duties within the school operation.
