About the job
Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for central IT services in the areas of storage, cloud, virtualisation, and hybrid infrastructure.
- You ensure stable, secure, and efficient operations and continuously develop the services further.
- In our multi-provider environment, you coordinate internal and external partners, keep an eye on performance and service levels, and ensure binding collaboration.
- You accompany the entire lifecycle of our services – from conception and implementation to ongoing optimisation.
- You apply your technical knowledge in topics such as NetApp Storage, Microsoft Azure, virtualisation, and data centre operations.
- You work closely with architecture, operations, and security teams and support technical as well as operational issues.
- With clear communication and a good sense of priorities, you create transparency and drive joint solutions forward.
Your Profile
- Training in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Experience in IT service management, provider management, or engineering and operation of demanding IT infrastructures
- Good knowledge in some of the following areas: NetApp or other storage systems, Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud, virtualisation, server infrastructure, backup, monitoring, or ITIL-based operational processes
- Enjoy understanding technical contexts, taking responsibility, and developing solutions together with various specialists
- A structured, pragmatic, and reliable working style
- Very good German skills; English skills are an advantage
