Job Description

For our medical centre in Locarno, we are seeking a Specialist Doctor in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, with a 100% employment rate, interested in joining a structured and multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

The selected candidate will independently carry out outpatient specialist activities, managing patient care in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of major gynaecological conditions.

Main activities

• Gynaecological examinations and specialist check-ups

• Prevention and screening activities

• Diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of gynaecological diseases

• Consultation and support for patients through different life stages

• Collaboration with doctors and other healthcare professionals within the facility

• Independent management of outpatient activities, supported by centre staff

Qualifications

• Specialist medical degree in Gynaecology and Obstetrics recognised in Switzerland or recognisable through MEBEKO

• Requirements necessary for medical practice in Canton Ticino

• Excellent knowledge of Italian (knowledge of German is a preferential asset)

• Professional autonomy and organisational skills

• Interdisciplinary work attitude

• Professional, empathetic approach focused on quality patient care
