Marina Lachen is the gastronomy and experience mile at the southernmost point of Lake Zurich. With around 70 employees, we operate three restaurants, a bar/lounge, banquet and seminar rooms for up to 120 people, a catering service, as well as a 4* hotel with 21 rooms. We are looking for smart people for exciting tasks by the lake. Specifically: permanent employment – immediately or by arrangement, a Head of Service 100% at the Italian restaurant "Osteria Vista" and the "Lago Lounge"

In close collaboration with the restaurant manager and another Head of Service, you will share responsibility for the smooth running of our authentic Italian restaurant as well as our stylish bar & lounge.

Your new role:

• Responsibility for the "Osteria Vista" and "Lago Lounge" in the absence of the restaurant manager
• Shared responsibility for a service team of about 14 people and for maintaining service standards
• Guest care from A to Z
• Professional handling of guest feedback
• Shared responsibility for internal processes: service meetings, employee information, training, working time controls, as well as deployment and holiday planning
• Compliance with and enforcement of HACCP hygiene regulations
• Shared responsibility for beverage purchasing and monthly drink inventory
• Support in designing the wine, drinks and food menus
• Active assistance at the front and managing your own service station when needed

This is how you will succeed with us:

• You have training as a restaurant specialist and professional experience in public gastronomy
• Initial leadership experience is an advantage
• You are a strong personality with a competent appearance and a hands-on mentality
• Strategic thinking and goal-oriented action characterise you
• You are communicative and reliable
• Experience with Simphony POS, aleno, Oracle Materials Control, JobDone is an advantage
• You speak fluent German and can converse in English
