The foundation «focus youth» is a modern centre for special education in the Solothurn area and offers diverse and attractive school and residential options for young people with special care needs. Around 240 professionals are committed at various locations with the central aim of supporting the integration of clients into mainstream school, family, society, and the professional world.
To complement our team in the psychological service, we are looking for a
Psychotherapist (Children and Adolescents), 50 - 80%
starting mid-October 2026 or by arrangement
Actively shape...
- Psychotherapy: Accompanying children, adolescents and their families within psychotherapeutic processes.
- Test diagnostics: Conducting psychometric assessments including evaluation, documentation and case discussions.
- Documentation: Documenting therapeutic work as well as writing expert reports and progress documentation.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: Working together with social pedagogues, teachers and other internal and external professionals (e.g. guardianships, SPF).
- Professional advice: Case-specific advice for teachers, social pedagogical staff and other professionals, also independently of therapeutic support, and possibly leading case discussions.

- Education: Completed Master’s degree in Psychology as well as completed psychotherapeutic training with a federal professional title in psychotherapy or advanced psychotherapeutic training.
- Professional experience: Experience in psychotherapeutic work and diagnostics with children and adolescents.
