About the job
As Lead Quality Assurance, you are responsible for quality assurance across products, development partners and operational processes. You strategically develop our QA organisation further, ensure high release quality and create the conditions for stable, testable and economically viable solutions.
In doing so, you connect people, processes and technologies into an effective quality approach. Together with employees, departments, development partners and customers, you ensure that quality is planned early, managed transparently and anchored sustainably.
What you achieve
Leadership & Organisational Development
You lead, coach and develop the employees in the Quality Assurance area
You strengthen collaboration within the QA organisation and promote a modern, quality-oriented culture
You moderate different interests and bring people, teams and partners together aligned to common goals
QA Strategy & Governance
You further develop the QA and test strategy of IGS and establish practical standards, methods and best practices
You create transparency about quality, risks, test coverage, defects and improvement measures
You ensure that quality requirements are implemented sustainably and across organisations
End-to-End Quality & Collaboration
You are responsible for quality assurance across products, systems, teams and development partners
You identify quality and operational risks early, address them effectively and create sound decision-making bases
You work closely with product management, development, architecture, operations, security, customers and external partners
Further Development of QA Capabilities
You drive the further development of test automation, test data management, test environments and QA tooling
You prioritise measures according to risk, business benefit and economic efficiency
You ensure a professional and future-oriented development of quality assurance
Why you succeed
You have a higher education (HF/FH/Uni) in computer science, business informatics, business administration or a comparable qualification
You bring several years of leadership experience in a technical environment
You are a communicative, assertive and binding leadership personality who brings people together across roles, teams and organisational boundaries
You can orchestrate interdisciplinary teams, provide orientation and drive joint solutions even in complex or unclear situations
You combine good technical understanding with organisational strength, stakeholder management and the ability to align different interests to a common quality goal
You are not primarily a technical specialist but a personality who shapes and makes quality effective through people, structures, processes and collaboration
You understand the central QA disciplines – from test management and test automation to UAT and non-functional testing – and can strategically classify and effectively manage them
Very good German skills, additional national languages are an advantage
