Become part of a motivated, seven-member team of production planners and task managers who passionately work to successfully launch our innovative products into space. Together, we ensure everything runs smoothly – from material provision to final documentation.
In your role as MAIT Task Manager, you bear overall responsibility for the production process – from planning to implementation. You always keep an overview, coordinate processes, and ensure all cogs mesh perfectly. You are the central contact person and interface between production, design, and project management. Teamwork, communication, and organisational talent are your most important tools.

Your Mission
- Overall responsibility for the entire product at the production level
- Project coordination (internal/external) to ensure smooth processing at the manufacturing level
- Project mapping in SAP
- Maintaining master data
- Demand planning in SAP via network plan
- Support in the quotation and concept phase
- Coordination of production planning for detailed production planning and resources
- Timely and cost-appropriate planning, control, and monitoring of the production of assigned projects
- Ensuring the planning of all necessary resources
- Proactively requesting technical data packages, approvals, etc.
- Central contact for manufacturing questions from development, quality assurance, and production areas
- Defining the cost structure in project management tools and SAP
- Coordination of long-lead items, required J&T, operating and auxiliary equipment, and triggering their approval
- Making make-or-buy decisions according to project and QMS specifications
- Development and analysis of KPIs
- Clearing at project completion
Your Story
- Technician in business processes HF, process specialist or similar
- Many years of experience and proven success in a comparable role in industry
- Enthusiasm for aerospace is an advantage
- Solid technical and production background in a project-based industry
- Very good knowledge of the SAP R3 system (S4 Hana advantageous), MM and PP modules, and MS Office applications
- Good understanding of operational excellence methods (Industry 4.0 as well as lean manufacturing)
- Good planning and coordination skills
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written (B2)
