Currently, we are looking for an Operations Engineer

Your Mission
As an Operations Engineer, everything you do revolves around our Digital Operations Center, Mission Control, excelling at Security and a Network Operations. Your goal is to keep the outstanding quality and to develop the DOC to the next level, integrating directly customer facing operations with cloud services operations. You achieve this not only through introducing new processes, tools, and procedures but also by improving existing ones. The wide variety of tasks will give you the chance to work collaboratively with people from all departments of Open Systems.

As part of an experienced team, you will solve smaller or bigger issues to ensure smooth operations, oversee the extensive internal training program, are part of Customer and internal Incident Management, and get experience in our Release Management. You will also have the chance to integrate new advanced services into the highly standardized and efficient operations concept.

Your Qualifications
• University or FH degree preferably in a Computer Science-related field
• Strong analytical, coordination, and pragmatic problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Open-minded and committed team-player attitude
• Solution-oriented & innovative thinking
• Desire to make a difference & acquire new skills
• Knowledge or strong interest in Linux operating systems and networking in general and the major internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, SMTP, DNS) Knowledge, or strong interest in network security concepts and practices, or AI integration practices
