Company Description
The Public Institutions for Integration (EPI) have the mission to contribute to the well-being and social and/or professional integration of people with disabilities or facing difficulties in professional and/or social integration.
The socio-educational services welcome and support people with disabilities and/or those facing major social integration difficulties in residences, day centres, or at their own homes.
They contribute to the development of each person’s quality of life, encourage the expression of their potential, their fulfilment, and the development of their autonomy.
More than 900 people are supported in very varied contexts.
The Tram residence consists of a mixed interdisciplinary socio-educational and care team which, in a dynamic and innovative work environment, integrates care into the life projects of the beneficiaries.
Job Description
- Work, in an evolving context, in a living environment and provide care to people needing help in their daily lives.
- Participate, within a team, in the care of users.
- Provide care services and support patients suffering from chronic conditions, multimorbidity, or in palliative situations.
- Raise awareness, stimulate and encourage the person to develop and maintain their personal hygiene. Perform or supervise, if necessary, basic bodily care.
- Identify emergency situations, take first aid measures and organise assistance.
- Participate in supporting the patient in acute or palliative care situations.
- Collaborate with the patient’s relatives by providing support.
- Carry out treatments and medical-technical acts within their competence.
Qualifications
- Federal Certificate of Competence as a Community Health and Care Assistant.
- A strong interest in people with disabilities and their quality of life.
- A service-oriented mindset towards vulnerable populations.
- Ability to work both in a team and autonomously within an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to handle crisis situations and manage unforeseen events.
- A strong sense of responsibility.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and excellent communication.
- Proficiency in the French language.
