ICT Supporter
Office for Industry, Crafts and Labour | 80–100 % | Chur
The Office for Industry, Crafts and Labour (UCIAML) currently employs around 135 staff across six regions of the Canton of Graubünden. In addition to managing the Regional Employment Office (URC), we organise active labour market measures for job seekers and manage the cantonal unemployment fund. Furthermore, we execute various tasks in the labour market and occupational safety sectors.
For the active labour market measures section, we are looking for an ICT supporter and a course trainer (80-100%). Starting date to be agreed.
Responsibilities
- Professional advice and support to colleagues in first and second level IT support for all IT-related matters
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of client hardware as well as setting up modern IT workstations
- Responsibility for purchasing, managing and lifecycle management of hardware and software (incl. orders, licence management and inventory)
- Creation of software packages and their rollout
- Operation, maintenance and optimisation of the training environment
- Assistance and support for job seekers during SIZ application development courses
- Documentation related to course participation from start to finish and reporting to referring services (URC, disability insurance, social services)
- Assuming, at an interdepartmental level, the role of deputy power user
What we expect from you
- Completed training or further professional education in IT as well as solid professional experience in IT support and technical application management
- Strong knowledge of the Windows client/server environment and ideally experience with common automation tools
- Initial experience or contact with the Microsoft 365 environment, especially SharePoint and MS Teams, as well as Azure, is a great advantage but not essential
- Ability to think independently, interdisciplinarily and analytically as well as a structured, reliable and team-oriented working method
- Excellent spoken and written German skills. Knowledge of a second cantonal language or other languages is an advantage and facilitates exchange in a diverse environment
- Category B driving licence and willingness to undertake occasional assignments at other locations in the Canton of Graubünden
