Team Leader Climate Education with Focus on Schools (m/f/d) 80-100% at the location
Your Tasks:
- You take responsibility for the "Schools" team with offerings in Switzerland and Germany and manage resources and finances proactively and purposefully
- You strategically further develop our educational offerings and set clear, future-oriented priorities
- You successfully scale our offerings and ensure measurable impact
- You bring structure to a diverse project landscape and develop it strategically
- You conduct workshops with teams from educational institutions and support schools on their way to anchoring sustainability and climate protection in culture and structure.
- You lead a committed team in Switzerland and Germany, continuously develop it, and promote close, trusting, cross-border collaboration
- You optimize processes and interfaces and create clarity in everyday work
Your Profile:
- You have a university degree in the field of environment/sustainability or education and ideally further training in leadership and project management
- You have several years of leadership experience, lead teams confidently, and develop people
- You bring several years of project management experience and have successfully implemented educational projects
- You have solid (basic) knowledge in the topics of climate education / climate protection as well as education systems
- You think strategically and in processes – and develop both purposefully
- You work structured, independently, and with strong implementation skills
- You communicate clearly, empathetically, and motivatingly and appear confident
- You are willing to travel regularly in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and occasionally to Germany if needed.
- Ideally, you bring a network in the education system (universities of teacher education, extracurricular actors)
- You communicate fluently in German
