Regional Sales Manager for Bern and Northwest Switzerland 100%
Your responsibility
You work in a very versatile area and are: an active sales professional who understands how to sustainably maintain and expand their network and lead and further develop the established sales team.
Specifically, this means:
- Personnel and professional leadership of the field sales and project managers in the region
- Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships with our KAM and KEY customers in cooperation with the regional managing director
- Advising customers on larger projects, clarifications with authorities, construction, commercial and traffic police, handling public tenders
- Responsible for implementing marketing activities in the region
- Recognizing trends and sales opportunities, defining sales activities, and being responsible for their implementation
- New customer acquisition
- Maintaining customer data and creating individual offers and orders in our ERP system Abacus
Your skills
With our rental fleet, we ensure that the right equipment is at the right place for every deployment, and thanks to our training offers, we ensure that the equipment operators are also properly trained. You hold the threads together. And whoever holds the threads always needs a good overview. Good prerequisites for this are – besides sales strength and technical flair – flexibility, a solution-oriented working style, as well as a large portion of planning and organizational talent.
With the following additional qualifications, you are well equipped:
- Technical basic training or commercial basic training with good technical understanding
- Further training as a sales manager, sales specialist, or in business administration
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in a similar role
- A network in the region and you live in the sales area
- Self-initiative, negotiation skills with assertiveness
- Enjoyment of intensive customer contact (also by phone)
- Solution-oriented and a doer
- Proficient user knowledge of common MS Office programs, Abacus knowledge is an advantage
- High resilience, commitment, and flexibility
- Very good German skills (native level) as well as good French skills (at least B2)
- Interest in an extraordinary industry and enthusiasm for an exciting new field of tasks
