Job Description
- Participate in the migration of reports and environments from Tableau to Power BI / Microsoft Fabric.
- Analyse the existing setup and contribute to defining migration strategies.
- Prioritise the use of Direct Lake to limit duplication and optimise performance.
- Use Import mode when technical constraints require an alternative approach.
- Design and develop Power BI / Fabric semantic models.
- Work with existing SQL / Data Warehouse sources and environments.
- Ensure the quality, performance, and maintainability of developed solutions.
- Apply best practices in Git, versioning, CI/CD, and development management.
- Contribute to improving collaboration and governance practices within the team.
- Participate in testing, validation, and production deployment phases.
- Support the gradual migration of various functional scopes.
Qualifications
- Significant experience as a Data Analyst / Power BI Expert.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Excellent mastery of semantic models and Power BI architecture.
- Practical experience with Direct Lake and ideally migration scenarios to Fabric.
- Good knowledge of SQL / Data Warehouse.
- Mastery of best practices in Git and versioning.
- Experience in environments where governance and collaboration challenges are significant.
- Experience migrating Tableau → Power BI is a real asset.
- Ability to work autonomously in a complex and deadline-driven context.
- Excellent professional attitude, ability to communicate with various stakeholders and work in a team.
- Confirmed level of expertise expected.
