YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Development of innovative lighting concepts for our vehicles
- Evaluation of customer requirement specifications and standards to create concepts and specifications as well as definition of hardware functions and interfaces
- Assessment of constructive and normative requirements, examination of feasibility (including manufacturing and cost-effectiveness) and development of decision-ready solutions
- Creation of lighting calculations and illumination simulations
- Close collaboration with other engineering departments as well as purchasing and production
- Support during commissioning as well as system and type tests of the vehicles
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics (ETH, TU or FH)
- Further training in lighting technology or technical optics
- Industry knowledge in plant, machinery or rail vehicle construction
- German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Willingness to travel (approx. 15%)
