Your tasks
- You conduct internal audits in the municipal service departments and ensure that public funds are used properly, legally, and economically.
- You develop practical recommendations that go beyond merely identifying deficiencies and support the operational implementation in the administration.
- You share responsibility for auditing the annual accounts of the city of Lucerne.
- In addition, you are responsible for participating in and leading external limited audits of city-affiliated organisations.
Your profile
- You hold a diploma as a certified public accountant or an equivalent qualification.
- You bring several years of experience in external or internal auditing. A licence as an audit expert with the RAB is desirable.
- Analytical thinking, business processes, and the political environment interest you.
- You work independently, show initiative, and have good communication skills.
