Shiptec is looking for a technically experienced individual as an Electrician / Assembly Electrician, 100%, fixed-term until 30 April 2027, starting 1 October 2026 or by arrangement.
Shiptec AG is a subsidiary of SGV Holding AG. It provides technical services with a shipyard and an engineering office in the fields of ship design and engineering, shipbuilding, ship revisions, conversions, and ship maintenance in a national and international environment.

Your area of responsibility

• Responsibility for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical systems on ships
• Independent execution of all tasks arising from demanding projects
• Assignments throughout Switzerland and neighbouring countries, including possible longer stays
• Procurement of installation materials and their supervision

Requirements profile

• Training as an electrician
• Several years of experience in the technical handling of electrical installations and controls in shipbuilding, plant construction and/or industrial construction
• 3 years of experience under expert supervision or authorisation as an operational electrician
• German spoken and written, good English skills, additional languages advantageous
• Communicative and engaging personality
• Interest in new technologies and processes
• Willingness to undertake further training
• Willingness to undertake partly multi-day external assignments and on-call duty
• Driving licence category B
