The Medicentre Biel-Bienne is part of the Arc Network and is located in the center of Biel/Bienne.
The hospitals and medical centers (Medicentres) of the Arc Network, which employ around 1,200 staff, cover the medical needs of a population of over 50,000 inhabitants. The Medicentre Biel-Bienne brings together independent doctors practicing general or specialized medicine, who work as a team and in an interdisciplinary manner. Our day surgery clinic welcomes patients for outpatient procedures, and our Walk-In-Clinic, a polyclinic, takes care of patients without appointments.
To complete our emergency team, we are looking for a certified nurse immediately or by agreement.
Job Description
- Rigorous implementation of nursing and medical knowledge in the care and treatment of patients in emergency situations (infants/children/adults), including patients admitted to the resuscitation/shock room, in close collaboration with general practitioners and pediatricians.
- Patient triage
- Management of emergency situations
- Application of casts
- Reception and organization of emergency consultations
- Laboratory tests after initiation
- Entry of services
- Participation in projects and development of standards
Qualifications
- Completed training as a certified nurse ES/HES
- Experience in emergency care and emergency triage desired
- Autonomy and reliability in work, strong service orientation, stress resistance, flexibility, and enjoyment in working with patients of all ages
- Positive and supportive team spirit
- Native German or French speaker, good command of the other language
Additional Information
- Team composed of doctors, medical assistants, nurses, and a medical secretary
- Working days: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to schedule
