In the Lorraine district of Bern, 63 residents find a home with security and comprehensive care and support. We offer accommodation for people with mental illnesses, addiction disorders, and elderly people. For our committed team in the lively Lorraine district in Bern, we are looking for a motivated and responsible individual as a Health Care Specialist EFZ. In this varied role, you will make an important contribution to the individual care and support of our residents.Your tasks
- Designing a varied daily routine of care and support that promotes the independence, resources, and quality of life of our residents
- Together with qualified nursing professionals, you share responsibility for professional, individual care
- Carrying out administrative tasks
- Taking on daily responsibility for around 30 residents
- Actively shaping a respectful and professional care environment
- Collaborating in the interdisciplinary team and promoting the well-being of our residents
Your profile
- Completed training as a FaGe EFZ (Health Care Specialist)
- Experience in long-term care and psychiatry
- Good user skills in handling computer programmes
- Good German language skills and understanding of the Swiss dialect
- Teamwork skills, organisational talent, and decisiveness
- Flexibility and resilience
- Enjoyment in working with people of all origins and social backgrounds
- Identification with the Salvation Army's mission statement
