About the job
Numbers under control. People in focus. In the thick of things.
The Gemeindewerke Pfäffikon are an independent public-law institution of the municipality of Pfäffikon ZH. With around 26 employees, they ensure the reliable supply of electricity, water, heat and natural gas as well as wastewater disposal and waste management on a daily basis. The paths are short, the responsibility great and the collaboration personal and straightforward. As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded personality as
Head of Finance & Administration
Member of the Executive Management
In this key position, you will lead a team of six employees and be responsible for the areas of finance, administration and personnel. You ensure the financial management of the Gemeindewerke and bear responsibility for budgeting, annual accounts, liquidity planning, reporting and accounting. In addition, you accompany investment projects from a financial perspective, further develop controlling instruments and prepare well-founded decision-making bases for tariff and investment decisions. As a sparring partner to the operations manager, you actively contribute to financial, organisational and energy industry-related issues. At the same time, you appreciate being able to not only manage but also to get involved hands-on in a manageable company when needed.
For this versatile role, we are looking for a personality with a commercial basic education and advanced training in finance and accounting. You have several years of professional and leadership experience in a comparable function. Your affinity for IT systems – ideally Abacus and Innosolvenergy – as well as your interest in the business management issues of a utility company distinguish you. You work in a structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented manner and communicate appropriately and confidently with employees, authorities and other stakeholders. You also convince in external communication, whether in public relations, with the media or in the preparation of annual reports.
Would you like to become part of a dynamic and future-oriented company? Attractive employment conditions, modern working methods with home office options, and an environment where you can take responsibility, develop yourself and actively make a difference await you.
We look forward to receiving your complete application documents.
