About the job
Our emergency night shelter Pfuusbus is a low-threshold service for people in need who are homeless, have a substance use disorder and/or psychiatric illnesses. From mid-November to mid-April, the Pfuusbus is open daily from 19:00 to 09:00 and offers guests, in addition to a place to sleep, an evening meal and breakfast. We support those affected in their current life situation and provide information and advice. The service is free of charge for guests.
We are looking for a temporary position from 15 November 2026 to 30 April 2027 for a meaningful role as a
Caregiver for Night Shift 50% - 80%
A role that challenges you:
Together with our team, you ensure that the Pfuusbus is a safe and reliable place for our guests. In particular, you take on the following tasks:
- Ensuring night operations including admissions, catering and allocation of sleeping places
- Accompanying and supporting our guests during the night
- Responsibility for a calm, orderly process
- Collaboration with volunteer helpers
- Working hours from 23:30 to 09:30
