Project Management Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 120,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Project Manager Execution Building Construction for the holistic management of demanding construction projects with a focus on planning and realisation. You will take over projects from the construction project phase and be responsible for coordinating planning, tendering, awarding, and execution through to successful project completion. You will lead internal and external planning teams and ensure costs, deadlines, quality, as well as contract and planning processes. The position combines architectural quality standards with sound project management and high technical implementation competence.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of demanding building construction projects from construction project to realisation and handover
Development and coordination of project-specific construction, execution, and detail solutions considering architectural objectives
Structuring and management of internal and external planning processes along the relevant SIA phases
Leadership and coordination of architects, internal planning teams, specialist planners, and experts
Responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality management including ongoing project controlling
Preparation and updating of cost estimates and cost forecasts as well as monitoring of economic project goals
Preparation of specifications and tender documents as well as coordination of submissions
Conducting offer comparisons and preparing well-founded evaluations and award proposals
Conducting contract negotiations as well as preparation and coordination of planner and work contracts
Managing interfaces between client, users, architecture, specialist planning, and execution
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, NPK, cost structures, and contractual requirements
Use of digital planning, collaboration, and construction administration systems for structured project execution
Qualifications:
Education as FH Architect, HF Technician Building Planning, EFZ Draughtsman specialising in Architecture with appropriate further training or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in project management of demanding Swiss building construction projects in the planning and realisation phases
Sound knowledge in cost planning, tendering, submission, awarding, as well as planner and work contract law
Very good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss planning and construction processes
Experience in leading and coordinating interdisciplinary planning teams and specialist planners
Confident use of ArchiCAD, Messerli, pro-Plan, and Microsoft 365 or comparable planning and collaboration systems
Very good German language skills spoken and written
