Experienced Site Manager / Vaud

Your role

You ensure the preparation, organisation, management and supervision of construction sites and projects, guaranteeing the proper execution of works in compliance with safety, quality, deadline and cost requirements, and you lead and manage the internal technical staff.

Your responsibilities

• Planning, preparation and organisation
• Prepare sites by analysing risks and preparing quotes
• Contribute to the organisation of works through provisional schedules and installations
• Operational management and supervision
• Lead and coordinate works by managing teams, site meetings, as well as inspections and tests
• Ensure smooth progress and optimisation of the project, from resource management to project completion, proposing innovative solutions
• Financial, administrative management and reporting
• Ensure financial monitoring of sites
• Contribute to financial and operational project reporting
• Safety, quality and environment
• Manage safety on sites, apply accident prevention legislation and safety standards and measures
• Ensure compliance and monitoring of works by managing non-conformities, incidents and environmental requirements

Your profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years of successful experience in a similar position
• Mastery of construction and safety techniques, standards and regulations
• Mastery of technical, financial and organisational risk analysis methods, planning and coordination
• Mastery of administrative and financial management processes
• Mastery of environmental standards and regulations
• Sense of responsibility and reliability, ability to handle pressure, adaptability, critical and analytical thinking, autonomy and initiative
• Ability to interact in a team, assertiveness, service and client orientation
• Knowledge of German is an asset
