About the job
Overview
Within Partner Sales, Vertical Partners ensures Siemens has the right ecosystem capability to deliver its global sales ambitions across every strategic vertical. The function provides a data-driven view of ecosystem readiness, continuously assessing partner coverage, capability, capacity, and competency to ensure Sales Units, Zones, and Countries have the right partners, in the right locations, with the right expertise to win.
The function owns the global ecosystem capability strategy for Siemens' priority industries, identifying where capability is strong, where investment is required, and where strategic recruitment is needed. Working hand-in-hand with global, regional, and country sales leadership, it develops a dynamic view of ecosystem health, aligning partner capability with sales priorities, customer demand, and market opportunities.
Vertical Partners continuously evaluates whether existing partners should be enabled, certified, and developed to address capability gaps, or whether new strategic partners should be recruited to strengthen ecosystem coverage. Through data, governance, and strategic planning, the function creates a global heatmap of partner readiness, ensuring every priority vertical has the ecosystem required to deliver sustainable growth.
Ultimately, the Head of Vertical Partners ensures Siemens' ecosystem is a competitive advantage-providing every sales organisation with confidence that the right partners, with the right capabilities, are in place to achieve revenue objectives and deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
