As a Workplace Safety & Physical Security Officer, you take responsibility for workplace safety as well as health protection within Julius Bär Switzerland. You ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, further develop existing safety standards, and promote a sustainable safety culture within the bank. In addition, you support the Physical Security organisation with location-related security issues and projects.YOUR TASKS
- Responsibility for workplace safety, health, and physical security in Switzerland
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, especially within the framework of the EKAS-/ASA model solution
- Conducting risk analyses, safety inspections and audits in the area of workplace safety
- Developing and implementing appropriate measures for risk minimisation and prevention
- Responsibility for emergency, evacuation, and alarm concepts as well as their regular review and further development
- Planning and conducting training sessions, awareness campaigns, and emergency drills
- Advising management and employees on all matters of occupational safety and physical security
- Managing external partners and collaborating with authorities, landlords, and specialist departments
- Supporting the Physical Security organisation on topics such as building security, site protection, security concepts, and security-relevant projects
- Analysing incidents and deriving appropriate preventive measures
YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of professional experience in occupational safety, corporate security, or a comparable environment
- Sound knowledge of Swiss requirements in occupational safety and health protection
- Recognised training as a specialist ASGS or comparable qualification
- Practical knowledge in physical security, especially building security, event security, security systems, and emergency management
- Experience in conducting risk analyses, audits, and training
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Independent, pragmatic, and solution-oriented working style
- Very good German and good English skills
Advantageous
- Experience in the banking or financial services sector
- Training or further education in physical security and fire protection
- IVR First Aid Level 3 or comparable qualification
- French language skills
