Job Description:
The Repair Engineer is responsible for the professional analysis, repair, assembly, and testing of VAT products at the Service Centre Switzerland. They ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-efficient execution of repairs and overhauls and contribute through their technical expertise to high customer satisfaction as well as the continuous improvement of repair processes and product quality.
KEY EXPERIENCES - What experiences lead to success in this position?
- Experience with mechanical components and a good technical understanding
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm in hectic moments and being resilient and flexible
- Experience with VAT vacuum valves is desirable
COMPETENCIES - What competencies lead to success in this position?
- Completed vocational training, preferably in the metal industry, and/or several years of experience in an assembly area in an industrial environment
- Independent working style as well as a high level of quality awareness and precision
- A good team player and communication skills
- IT skills (ERP and MS Office)
- Basic knowledge of English
- High resilience and flexibility
