We are hiring a Back of House Assistant for our pop-up store in Gstaad!
Your mission with us will focus on 2 pillars:
STOCK
As a stock assistant, you keep an accurate record of inventory and stock takes and ensure that the stock rooms of the store are always organized and tidy. You are proactive in organizing stock in the back office as well as on the sales floor, and you propose optimization ideas.
Main Responsibilities
- Be versatile by linking the back-office stock and the sales floor.
- Ensure the daily receipt of products (opening boxes, labeling, security tagging) and perform quality checks on all products upon receipt.
- Store goods in the right place in the stock and rearrange the sales area.
- Ensure that the stock is well organized and optimized according to the store's internal procedures.
- Manage daily transfer requests from store staff and other stores.
- Prepare and participate in inventories.
- Analyze and assist the store manager and the reference stock manager in resolving discrepancies related to rolling inventories.
- Prepare stock for the launch of new collections and collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team.
- (?) Support the store in preparing for sales (re-labeling, reorganizing stock).
- Support the sales team by bringing goods when necessary or tidying fitting rooms during peak times.
- Assist in packing and packaging sold products.
CASH DESK
As a cashier, you will provide excellent service to customers and assist the store team in carrying out daily transactions.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the point of sale system at designated times (depending on the team).
- Ensure that transactions are completed accurately and within the allotted time.
- Verify all credit card conditions, such as the customer's signature on the back of the card, the signature on the receipt.
- Calculate and record the totals of transactions at the end of the day.
- Execute and batch the closing report.
- Ensure there are enough cash funds before the store opens.
- Count the cash at the beginning of each shift to ensure that the amounts are correct and that there is enough change available.
- Issue sales invoices. Obtain the boutique manager's approval for issuing refunds and credit notes.
- Review quotas by category by checking the purchase history of all transactions before issuing an invoice to the customer.
- Monitor the inventory of supplies for transactions (e.g., sales notes, carbon rolls, bill holders) and make necessary arrangements to restock them in a timely manner.
- Follow procedures in place to prevent theft and fraud in the store and avoid security breaches.
- Maintain a clean and tidy point of sale.
