The newly established organisation centralises procurement activities from several Migros companies with common suppliers.
What you will achieve
- Development of cost models: Design and implementation of robust cost models to create transparency about cost developments, focusing on the impact of raw material price fluctuations on the product portfolio in retail
- Analytical negotiation support: Providing crucial analytical support and data-driven insights to strengthen the position of our procurement teams in supplier negotiations in the retail environment
- Generation of market insights: Continuous monitoring of raw material markets and translating complex trends into clear, actionable information for stakeholders
What you bring
- Education: Student (University/FH/HF)
- Field of study: in (business) informatics or economics or a similar analytical discipline
- Work experience: Initial professional experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills combined with entrepreneurial thinking and action
- Result- and goal-oriented working as well as the ability to reduce and simplify complex issues to the essentials
- Passionate interest in learning more about raw material markets, retail, and the economics of global supply chains
- Good knowledge of Excel, Power BI or comparable analysis tools
- German (B2)
- English (C1)
