About the job

At the youth centre Block94 (as well as in the kids' centre for 5th/6th grades), we create a low-threshold meeting place for children and young people. The focus is on encounter, relationship, participation, and social learning.

As a temporary assistant, you support the team during absences and special occasions.

Your exciting area of responsibility

Collaboration, supervision, and oversight in the youth centre Block94
Initiation and accompaniment of activities in the open meeting operation
Management of the centre (bar, games, materials, order)
Support in participatory projects with young people
Collaboration in prevention and relationship work in everyday centre life

Your profile:

Training in social work, social pedagogy, or socio-cultural animation (or equivalent experience)
Enjoyment in contact with young people and understanding of their life worlds
High social competence and ability to set clear boundaries
Flexibility for assignments on Friday evenings and Saturdays
Independent working style as well as ability to work in a team
