The MCM Institute is an internationally recognized research, training, and consulting center for media and communication management. Since 1998, we have been dealing with great foresight with the digital transformation and the resulting challenges for companies and society.
Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Martin J. Eppler, the Chair of Communication Management (=mcm1) deals with the effects of digitalization on management and especially on the way managers collaborate, communicate, and innovate.
Your tasks
- Participation in research projects on interactive visualization of knowledge in various management contexts (innovation, training, strategy, communication)
- Design of experiments, case studies, surveys, prototypes, and evaluations
- Data collection, analysis, preparation for scientific purposes.
- High-quality scientific and practice-oriented publication of research results
- Support in university teaching and continuing education, administration, as well as industry projects
Your profile
- Very good master's degree in business administration or business informatics
- Strong interest and prior knowledge in the field of knowledge visualization and communication
- Very good language skills in German and English (spoken and written). Additional foreign languages are an advantage.
- Publication experience
- Experience with data analysis tools and methods as well as data visualization tools
- Ambition and interest in publishing in high-quality journals
- Fulfillment of the formal requirements for admission to the HSG doctoral program (e.g., degree with distinction)
