BACKOFFICE & OPERATIONS MANAGER
Interior Architecture / Interior Fitting / Interior Design (m/f/d)
Organise. Think ahead. Follow up. Get stuck in.
A furniture delivery from Italy is delayed. The installation date has already been agreed with the customer. At the same time, an invoice arrives whose amount does not match the order. And the next goods delivery is waiting in the warehouse.
You don’t see five separate problems but know what is important now, who you need to contact, and how to get things moving again?
Then you could be exactly the personality we are looking for.
YOUR ROLE WITH US
Trendline stands for high-quality interior architecture, individual furnishings, and sophisticated interior fitting projects.
Behind every successful project is not only a good idea but also reliable implementation. And this is exactly where you come in.
You are the operational hub of our order processing. You ensure that the plans of our interior architects become concrete orders, deliveries arrive on time, installations are coordinated, and the financial processing is correct.
In doing so, you carry out your tasks yourself. You order, check, make calls, coordinate, and also help out in the warehouse.
WHAT YOU DO SPECIFICALLY
Procure and coordinate
You take over customer orders from sales, prepare goods orders, and independently place orders with our suppliers and international design brands. You check order confirmations, monitor delivery dates, and follow up before a delay becomes a problem.
You organise deliveries and installation assignments, coordinate appointments with customers, and ensure that all parties involved are informed in good time.
Check and handle commercial processing
You create customer invoices, check incoming payments, and maintain the financial overviews of our projects.
You do not simply forward creditor invoices: you check amounts, prices, conditions, and their conformity with the orders. You prepare the payment run and support the accounting closing tasks, especially accruals and account assignments.
Keep an overview and get stuck in yourself
You know which orders are still open, which goods are missing, which projects will be installed soon, and where follow-up is needed.
You check goods receipts, manage our warehouse, and take care of the inventory. When a delivery arrives, you are not too proud to lend a hand yourself.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are not looking for someone who simply works through tasks. We are looking for someone who thinks ahead, takes responsibility, and enjoys seeing things move forward.
You fit with us if you:
• work in a structured and precise manner even with interruptions, changing priorities, and several ongoing projects.
• understand technical or craft-related contexts – ideally from interior fitting, furniture, or a related field.
• are strong administratively and have a good understanding of invoices, numbers, and commercial processes.
• independently prepare decisions, question uncertainties, and follow up persistently if necessary.
• communicate confidently and kindly, also on the phone or in English with international suppliers.
• are proficient with computers and enjoy familiarising yourself with different programmes and workflows.
• do not distinguish between office work and practical work when both contribute to shared success.
You do not need to have perfect expertise in each of these areas yet. The combination of technical or craft understanding and commercial strength is particularly interesting for us. However, your willingness to learn, sense of responsibility, and motivation are decisive.
WHY TRENDLINE?
Because you are not just a number with us.
We are a small company where people work closely together, support each other, and create something together they can be proud of.
It can get hectic with us. Then we stick together, help each other, and look for solutions. Just as much, we take the time to celebrate successes together.
You work close to the action, take real responsibility, and gain insight into the entire implementation of high-quality interior architecture projects – from order to procurement to the finished furnishing at the customer. We also offer you an attractive salary.
YOUR PLACE WITH US
You are organised, reliable, enjoy beautiful products, and love it when everything fits together in the end?
Then we want to get to know you.
We look forward to hearing from you.
