Lawyer, Social Worker or Social Pedagogue (m/f/d)

For the residents of the canton of Thurgau, a Child and Adult Protection Authority operates per district. To support the specialist secretariat of the KESB in the Weinfelden district, we are looking for you immediately or by agreement, limited to one year as

• legal support for the authority members
• preparation of decisions and drafting of rulings
• taking minutes during hearings
• independent conduct of delegated hearings
• independent case processing and advisory voice in the authority's decision-making meeting
• clarification of specific legal questions

• completed legal university degree (Licentiate, MLaw) or degree in social work (FH/HFS) or equivalent training
• ideally professional experience in the judiciary, law firm and/or administration or in child and adult protection or practical professional experience, preferably in statutory social work
• good knowledge of personal and family law as well as procedural law, preferably also in inheritance or social insurance law
• confident written and oral expression
• independent, precise, solution-oriented and efficient working style
• resilience and reliability
• affinity for collaboration in an interdisciplinary team
• empathy and skill in dealing with people in special life situations
