Social Worker: Crisis Intervention & Housing First (60%)
Would you like to contribute to supporting the population of Winterthur? The housing assistance of the Social Services promotes housing integration through transitional accommodation and individual support. From July 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for reinforcement for crisis intervention, as a contact person for social, medical and police authorities as well as in the Housing First pilot project.Your Tasks
- Support for clients in situations where the existing network reaches its limits when working with multiply burdened individuals
- Assessment of clients' life situations and making clarifications
- Creation of action plans and ensuring case management
- Regular relationship maintenance with Housing First clients
- Outreach crisis intervention
Your Profile
- Completed degree in social work (FH/HF), or qualified nurse HF with a focus on psychiatry
- Several years of experience working with people in emergency situations
- Resilient, flexible and independent personality with organisational skills and reflective regarding closeness and distance
- Strong communication skills in dealing with clients, authorities and other professionals
- Accepting attitude towards addiction, neglect and alternative lifestyles
