The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. The organisation effectively combines a local approach with an overall vision, guaranteeing the population a comprehensive and local hospital service, regardless of where the services are required. Thanks to the commitment and expertise of over 6,500 collaborators and their attention to human relations, the EOC ensures quality healthcare by caring for over 41,000 inpatients annually and providing over 600,000 outpatient consultations.
To complete our Catering Service team at the EOC Rehabilitation Clinic (CREOC), Novaggio site, we are looking for a
Catering Employee (60%)
Profile:
The future collaborator feels comfortable in a multicultural context, knows how to manage interpersonal relationships with patients, can ensure quality while respecting established times and procedures, and enjoys collaborative and team work. Possessing functional and technical skills, they can manage significant workloads and are dedicated to meeting the expectations and requests of internal and external clients with a great spirit of collaboration.
Necessary requirements:
- Federal certificate of capacity as catering employee or hotel employee are preferred qualifications
- Preferably previous experience as a waiter or commis waiter with table service
- Preferably professional experience gained in the socio-health sector (hospital, clinic, nursing home) or in hotel establishments
- Availability for shift work (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) with flexible hours, particularly split shifts
- Excellent customer reception skills for internal/external clients with good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Orientation towards change and development
- Excellent knowledge of the Italian language (spoken and written) and a second national language
- Knowledge of common IT tools
