About the job
Your new role
You work as a school special education teacher in a committed, professional team and support young people both in an inclusive setting and in small groups.
You will become part of a faculty of around 45 teachers and actively contribute your expertise to the further development of our school. We are currently working on a cantonally unique school development project, the "mixed-type upper secondary school".
The Schönau Upper Secondary School in the west of the city of St.Gallen stands for a school that consistently evolves. We are looking for individuals who take responsibility and want to effectively shape education together with us.
This position is suitable for you if
- You are a trained upper secondary teacher with an affinity for special education and are willing to further your education accordingly or hold a master's degree in school special education.
- You understand collaboration as a central success factor and consciously want to contribute to a sustainable team.
- You enjoy actively shaping educational developments and taking responsibility.

At the Schönau Upper Secondary School, we work with around 350 young people in three grade levels in a mixed-type model as well as with cooperatively managed secondary, intermediate classes, and a small class.
All students have a personal device that is used purposefully and future-oriented in lessons.
