Global Logistics Coordinator (d/f/m)

In this varied and international role, you will play a key part within our global supply chain,
working alongside the team. You will act as the link between internal departments, external
logistics providers and our international production, warehouse and retail sites.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Organising, coordinating and monitoring international transport flows by road, sea, air and rail
- Responsibility for the inbound and outbound logistics of finished goods – from international
production sites via distribution centres to our B2B customers as well as retail and POS outlets
Management and further development of logistics service providers within your area of
responsibility
- Ensuring efficient, transparent and on-time transport operations, whilst taking logistical and
regulatory requirements into account
- Acting as the point of contact for internal departments and external partners on matters
relating to transport and foreign trade
- Analysing and monitoring relevant transport key performance indicators, as well as identifying
and implementing opportunities for optimisation in terms of quality, service and costs
- Assisting with tenders, contract awards and negotiations with international logistics service
providers
- Collaborating on cross-functional projects, as well as actively shaping and continuously
optimising our global transport processes
- Supporting the Global Logistics & Customs department with operational issues in day-to-day
business
Required experience and skills:
- A successfully completed apprenticeship in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain
management or a comparable commercial apprenticeship with relevant further training
- Several years’ professional experience in international transport logistics
- In-depth knowledge of international trade and import and export processes
- Experience in managing international logistics service providers and, ideally, in conducting
transport tenders and contract negotiations
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA) and standard Microsoft Office
applications
- An independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work, with a high degree of
initiative
- Strong communication, organisational and coordination skills, as well as a strong customer
focus
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Team spirit and a passion for fashion and lifestyle
