As a team leader in vehicle diagnostics, you make a direct contribution to the safe, reliable and customer-oriented mobility of Switzerland. Together with your team of six diagnosticians, you ensure that technical faults in passenger transport rolling stock are quickly detected, analysed and sustainably resolved. The assignments take place on-site directly at the station or in the assigned area. You combine technical know-how with modern leadership and create the conditions for high availability of our fleet. In this varied role, you take responsibility for employees, processes and technical developments. You work closely with various specialist departments and actively shape the future of vehicle diagnostics. What you can achieve.

• Professional and personnel leadership of a team of six diagnosticians as well as ensuring efficient vehicle diagnostics at the Biel location while complying with applicable safety regulations.
• In addition to the leadership role, you actively support your team on site and independently carry out diagnostics and fault interventions on the vehicle. This makes a significant contribution to the safe availability of vehicles and systems.
• You are responsible for the deployment planning and time management of your team. You ensure the planned personnel availability at the location.
• You are also responsible for the office and site infrastructure, ensuring its appropriate use and smooth operation.
• In close cooperation with the helpdesk, maintenance, operations and other partners, you develop sustainable solutions to increase the safety, availability and reliability of the vehicle fleet.
• By analysing fault patterns and key figures, you identify optimisation potential and accompany technical innovations and digitalisation projects in the field of vehicle diagnostics.

What you bring with you.

• You have leadership experience in a technical environment or possess the potential and motivation to specifically develop into a leadership role.
• You communicate complex technical contexts clearly, make well-founded decisions and can justify them comprehensibly.
• Experience in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance or technical vehicle support is an advantage.
• You are willing to work partly in shifts as well as at night and on weekends.
• You have completed a technical basic education, for example as a mechatronics technician, automation technician, electrician or in a comparable technical profession.
• Very good German or French skills (at least C1) characterise you; you communicate confidently in the other language at level B2.
