Safety & Security Officer

• Monitoring and control of all relevant safety, security, and alarm systems as well as conducting inspections, audits, and vulnerability analyses
• Ensuring the effectiveness of physical security measures (access control, perimeter protection, building security)
• Coordination of the entire emergency and incident management including alarms, interventions, exercises, and maintaining contact with authorities
• Documentation and investigation of security and environmental incidents including root cause analysis and derivation of measures
• Advising management on hazard assessments, risk analyses, and implementation of legal and internal requirements
• Support in environmental management (waste, emissions, water protection) and participation in sustainability initiatives
• Planning, organizing, and conducting training sessions, workshops, and evacuation or emergency drills
• Active contribution to the further development of the safety, health, and environmental culture at the site

• Completed training in the field of safety (e.g., safety specialist (EKAS/SUVA), safety specialist (VSSU), police or military training, or technical training HF/FH with a focus on safety)
• Additional training in emergency/crisis management, fire protection, ISO 27001 (physical security), ISO 45001/14001 courses, BZS courses
• Several years of professional experience in occupational safety, health protection, or environment as well as in security or protection organizations (police, army, plant security, security management)
• Experience in dealing and cooperating with emergency organizations, authorities, intelligence services, etc.
• Sound knowledge in risk management, security audits, and internal control systems (ICS) in the security context
• High communication and teamwork skills at all hierarchical levels
• Structured and reliable working style as well as high organizational and coordination skills
• Very good MS Office user skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Very good German and good English skills
