About the job
For the Centre for Neuropsychiatry in Brugg/Windisch, we are looking for a
Tasks
- You offer individual and group therapies for people with intellectual developmental disorders aged between 18 and 65
- You implement occupational therapy interventions within the treatment concept
- You support animal-assisted therapy during holiday cover (with the option to take over animal- and nature-based therapies in two years)
- You are part of the inpatient, interdisciplinary treatment team and actively participate in the implementation of therapeutic goals
- You support the interdisciplinary team in diagnosis by using your assessment tools
Profile
- You have a completed degree or training in occupational therapy (BSc, FH, HF), preferably with experience in practical work in neuropsychiatry, old age psychiatry or geriatrics
- Preferably, you bring relevant further training in animal-assisted therapy as well as experience in handling animals
- You are characterised by high flexibility, resilience, personal responsibility and the ability to work in a team within an interdisciplinary context
- You have an interest in professional deepening of guideline-based work in the field of developmental and neuropsychiatry
