The Ingenbohl Monastery, headquarters of an international community of sisters, is a place of encounter and togetherness as well as reflection. The monastery's cleaning team ensures order, cleanliness and hygiene of the monastery's buildings every day with great commitment, so that the 210 nuns, residents, guests and staff feel comfortable in our premises. To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a responsible, independent and motivated person as:
Team Leader Cleaning Monastery and St. Josef Retirement Centre 80–100%
You are responsible for all cleaning in the buildings of the monastery operation as well as the St. Josef Retirement Centre. You organise all basic, maintenance and daily cleaning tasks, actively support and, together with your 20-member team, ensure cleanliness, hygiene and a homely atmosphere. The breakfast service in some communities is just as much part of your duties as the coordination and cleaning of rooms for guests and the management of seminar rooms. You respond to the wishes and concerns of the various stakeholders in a service-oriented manner and work as a committed team player in cross-departmental projects.
Area of responsibility
- Responsibility for the entire cleaning area (monastery and St. Josef Retirement Centre)
- Personnel management and targeted promotion of employees
- Conducting team meetings and employee appraisals
- Employee planning using Polypoint
- Coordinating and planning daily tasks, basic cleaning and unscheduled cleaning orders
- Coordinating the occupancy and cleaning of rooms for internal and external guests
- Planning the cleaning and provision of seminar rooms
- Purchasing and storage of all cleaning agents and equipment for the monastery using Navision
- Development of concepts and optimisation of processes and workflows
- Active participation in the area of responsibility (20%)
Expectations
- Facility Management certificate (federal FA) with a focus on operations management or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of leadership experience in cleaning; assertiveness
- Sound knowledge in purchasing, inventory management, budgeting and quality management
- High service orientation; shaping Klosterhügel as a place of encounter
- Good IT user skills (MS Office, Polypoint, Navision)
- Flexible working hours and willingness to work weekends
- Passion for developing and improving things together with a motivated team
- Professional, competent and well-groomed appearance as well as target group-oriented communication
