You are an organisational talent, keep an overview even in a dynamic daily business and lead employees with clarity and commitment? For our courier service we are looking for a reliable and solution-oriented leader who coordinates the operational business and ensures a smooth and professional service together with the team.

Your tasks

• Professional and personnel management of the courier service team
• Coordination and monitoring of the operational daily business as well as ensuring a smooth process
• Planning and continuous optimisation of routes, vehicle deployment and personnel resources
• Organisation and coordination of collections, transports and special transports
• Budget responsibility and ongoing cost control as well as ensuring economical and efficient use of resources
• Efficient management of the vehicle fleet, including maintenance, repairs and upkeep
• Ensuring a high level of service quality and professional handling of customer concerns
• Conducting team meetings and promoting good and constructive collaboration
• Induction of new employees as well as conducting employee appraisals, assessments and target setting
• Deployment and absence planning as well as monitoring of working time recording
• Active development and optimisation of processes, structures and workflows

Your profile

• Completed commercial or logistics training EFZ or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in dispatch, logistics or courier services
• At least two years of proven leadership experience in the operational area with personnel and professional leadership responsibility
• Very good organisational and planning skills as well as a strong sense of responsibility
• Independent, structured, precise and solution-oriented working style
• Ability to keep an overview even with short-term changes and demanding situations
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as professional appearance
• Good communication skills, social competence and assertiveness
• Very good road and geographical knowledge
• Good IT user skills and experience with digital planning and process workflows
• Driving licence category B
• Willingness to work flexible hours and, if necessary, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts
