About the job

The Arlesheim Clinic is an acute hospital with 90 inpatient beds in the fields of oncology, internal medicine, and psychiatry/psychosomatics, as well as an oncological day clinic with 24 beds. The outpatient primary care services include gynaecology, dermatology, gastroenterology, general practice, cardiology, neurology, pneumology, and sleep medicine. The emergency department is open around the clock. Medical diagnostics and therapy are based on the modern possibilities of scientific medicine. As the first anthroposophic clinic worldwide, the Arlesheim Clinic has more than 100 years of experience with the integrative concept of Anthroposophic Medicine.

Dipl. Nursing Specialist 80 - 90%, Monday - Friday day shift

 

Job profile:

  • Professional assistance with endoscopic examinations: You support our medical team during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies (e.g. gastroscopy, colonoscopy) and take on the comprehensive preparation of patients.
  • Care and monitoring: After endoscopic procedures, you accompany our inpatient and outpatient patients, monitor sedation, and take care of aftercare.
  • Ensuring device and hygiene quality: You ensure that our endoscopic devices always comply with internal hygiene requirements.
  • Organisation and daily planning: You support the efficient planning and organisation of the daily routine, contributing to smooth processes.
  • Quality and concept development: You implement innovative care and support concepts and contribute to the continuous improvement of care quality.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration: You work closely with our medical team and the secretariat, as well as other clinic staff.
  • Partial involvement in pneumology and cardiology diagnostics: You support the pneumology and cardiology departments in diagnostic examinations, taking on professional preparation, monitoring, and aftercare of patients.

You bring with you:

  • Diploma as a nursing specialist HF or equivalent with SRK recognition
  • Experience in endoscopy, gastroenterology and/or functional diagnostics
  • Efficient and clean working style as well as enjoyment in contact with people
  • Motivation and willingness to actively contribute, participate in and help shape new processes
  • Joy and interest in learning new things and passing on what has been learned
  • Flexibility, reliability, resilience and independence
  • Solution-oriented and communicative personality
