On behalf of one of our clients based in Geneva we are currently looking for a

Software Engineer

As a member of a highly qualified team, you will participate in software specification and testing of their radar display solution. You will work autonomously in an Agile team and in continuous improvement spirit. A high amount of autonomy and personal commitment is necessary.

 Missions :

• You create and maintain the Software Requirements Specification and also the test cases. 
• You review and test against the Software Requirements Specification and establish test traceability. 
• You write automatic test scripts for test automation environment. (C++, Squish, Python) 
• You execute manual and automatic tests and report results. 
• You analyze and describe issues/bugs in our issues Database JIRA. 
• You synchronize and update the Test Results Management tool. 
• You perform formal system tests (Factory Acceptance Test). 
• You perform analysis of defects/incidents to find the root cause of problem. 
• You may contribute to development activities.

Profile :

• 5 years of experience in computing within the air traffic control domain or other areas with real-time and security requirements
• Hands-on person with proven experience in writing software requirement specifications and software testing
• Proven experience with test automation tools (Squish, Jenkins)
• High analytical capacity, strong understanding of end-user needs and hability to translate them into software requirements for the Development Team or into your test cases
• Experience in C++ or Python development (appreciated)
• Knowledges of standards such as ED153/ED109 or ED12B/C 
• Experience with tools like IBM Rational DOORS or Siemens Polarion (appreciated)
• Organized with an ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage time effectively
• Rigorous, taste for challenge to work in a dynamic environment with a good team spirit.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required, German or French is a plus
