What this role involves

• Manufacturing tanks and equipment: Producing tanks, containers, equipment, and sophisticated stainless steel constructions.
• Welding demanding materials: Welding pipelines, tanks, and equipment made of stainless steel, duplex, and special materials using TIG welding and – depending on the application – orbital welding techniques.
• Processing components precisely: Preparing, tack welding, and welding components according to technical drawings, isometrics, and production specifications with a focus on quality.
• Installing systems at the customer site: Assembling process engineering systems, tanks, and pipelines at our customers’ premises, adhering to relevant standards – especially EN ISO 9606-1 – and quality requirements, and diligently performing visual, dimensional, and quality inspections.
• Developing production together: Working closely with production, assembly, and engineering, actively contributing practical knowledge, and helping to shape the further development of our production.

Especially exciting
At the end of the year, we will commission a new automatic welding system. You will work with the latest production technology and actively shape the next development step of ISTinox.

What you bring

• Training: Completed training as a plant and equipment builder, metalworker, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in plant construction: Practical experience in tank, equipment, or pipeline construction.
• Confident welding skills: Solid experience in TIG welding of stainless steel; experience with orbital welding is a plus but not mandatory.
• Technical understanding: Confident handling of technical drawings and isometrics.
• Quality focus: Enjoyment of high-quality stainless steel processing, a high standard of quality, and an independent, careful, and precise working style.
• Team spirit and responsibility: Reliability, team spirit, and a sense of responsibility.
• Open to modern technology: Enthusiasm for working with modern production technology.
