About the job
The responsibility for prosecuting cybercrime lies with the cantons – our Digital Crime Department is the central point of contact for all investigations in cyberspace.
Your tasks
- Processing reports from police stations and the Suisse ePolice portal for further case processing
- Initiating investigations usually with unknown perpetrators and drafting inquiries to partner organizations and external agencies
- Checking newly received cases for connections with already recorded reports
- Documenting investigation results in the reporting system and forwarding reports to the responsible public prosecutor's office
- Professional support of the uniformed police, including hotline support
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in business, administration or law as well as a pronounced IT and digital understanding
- Interest in police work and motivation to actively support the department
- Integrity, reliability and team-oriented personality with a collegial and open attitude
- Quick comprehension as well as a structured, independent and precise way of working
- Efficient task management, flexibility and willingness to cooperate with internal departments
